Breaking News: DPN Documentary Selected for Sundance Film Festival

Deaf President Now!, a new groundbreaking documentary film from Apple Original Films, has been accepted into the 2025 Sundance Film Festival! Gallaudet University has been proudly collaborating with alumnus Nyle DiMarco, ’13, and Oscar-winning filmmaker Davis Guggenheim from Concordia Studio on this film.

Dr. McCaskill Receives Schuchman Deaf History Award

Dr. Carolyn D. McCaskill, ’77, G-’79, & PhD ’05, is the third recipient of the Dr. John S. and Betty J. Schuchman Deaf History Award. The award is given every five years to recognize significant scholarship in the field of Deaf history. A well-deserved honor for Dr. McCaskill!

Jean Berube Receives Experiential Education Honor

This honor is given to an individual who has made significant contributions to experiential education, demonstrating both leadership and global impact. Congratulations to Professor Berube!

Global Gallaudet Celebration showcases power of international learning
